Join us for TRENDS in Critical Care Nursing where you will meet nurses from around the country who share your expertise and commitment in providing care for patients with a myriad of co-morbidities and complications in which optimizing their care is frequently challenging and complex.
You will hear from expert national and local speakers who will provide you with the most current information enabling you to understand the latest techniques used to improve patient outcomes utilizing best evidence based strategies for treatment, prevention and care of the critical care patient.
This conference is being jointly provided by the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter (SePA) of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) and IMNE.
Features of this program include:
- Sessions featuring timely topics in Respiratory, Neuro, Cardiology, Pulmonary, Pal-liative Care, Pharmacology, and Leadership
- Opening Monday Plenary Session AACN President Christine Schulman presenting the 2017 AACN theme!
- Tuesday Plenary Session join us for a Moral Ethics panel discussion presented by Dr. Peter Clark
- Wednesday Plenary Session presented by Joyce Ross MSN, CRNP, CS, CLS, FNLA, FPCNA past President of the National Lipid Association
- Ventilator Management lecture with a Ventilator Workshop session all day Tuesday
- On-site CCRN and PCCN Paper/Pencil exam on Thursday after completion of the review course: Certification exam candidates must preregister for this exam using the TRENDS Exam Application located at: https://www.aacn.org/conferences-and-events/events-calendar/local-events/ch25505/trends-in-critical-care-nursing-conference. Please note: the application deadline is September 1, 2017. No other application or online application through aacn.org will be accepted for this exam. Review course registration does not include exam fees or act as a substitute for this application process.

Paying by Check?
Checks may be sent in for registration up to Oct 10th; as of Oct 11th all payments must be made by credit card. Participants are responsible for ensuring checks have been received by 2017 TRENDS staff prior to the start of the conference. If checks have not been received by Oct 23rd, registrants will be required to supply a credit card on site to attend the meeting. TRENDS staff will reimburse credit card charges upon receipt of the check.
