Guided by Why... CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: Excellence in Critical Care Practice Award

PURPOSE
Recognizes a critical care nurse who embodies and exemplifies the excellent principles of critical care nursing practice.

CRITERIA
Candidates are active SePA Chapter members who have worked in critical care for a minimum of one year. During this time, candidates must have demonstrated how they act as a clinical role model and patient advocate, promote the standards of care, effectively communicates and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, and possess the knowledge and skills needed to provide excellent patient care.

AWARD
Certificate and $200 monetary honorarium

CANDIDATE ELIGIBILITY

• Active RN license
• Current AACN and SePA memberships (for at least one year prior to application submission)
• Must be nominated by fellow SePA Chapter members
• May only receive this award once per lifetime
• Submit completed application packet:

TO NOMINATE
Obtain application instructions and materials from the Nursing Network website under the Engagement Committee tab and email all completed documents to sepaawards@sepa-aacn.org. Applications must be received by midnight on May 1st. All eligible nomination forms will be reviewed by the Awards Subcommittee for final selection and the winner will be announced at the June SePA Chapter Celebration
