TWO TYPES OF AWARDS
- Undergraduate Nursing Student (Ann Braun) - Recognizes a highly motivated nursing student who expresses interest in acquiring advanced nursing knowledge and skills and has identified a plan for further learning and growth
- Novice Nurse (Alice Stein) - Recognizes a new to practice nurse who is highly enthusiastic about the nursing profession, is a patient advocate, and demonstrates the potential to develop into an outstanding nurse leader
CANDIDATE ELIGIBILITY
- Undergraduate Nursing Student (Ann Braun) - must be currently enrolled either part-time or full-time in an undergraduate National League for Nursing (NLN) accredited undergraduate school of nursing, be non-licensed, and meet all nursing program requirements
- Novice Nurse (Alice Stein) - must have an active RN license and been employed for less than one year in an intensive care unit, progressive care unit, or a high acuity med-surg unit
AWARD: A full day scholarship to the day of their choice at SePA’s TRENDS in Acute & Critical Care Nursing Conference with the unique opportunity to network with nursing leaders and learn from both locally and nationally recognized speakers.
