EXCELLENCE IN CRITICAL CARE AWARDS:
FOUR TYPES OF AWARDS
- Excellence in Critical Care Education Award (Eileen Kelly) - Recognizes a critical care nurse educator who facilitates the acquisition and advancement of the knowledge and skills required for competent practice and positive patient outcomes
- Excellence in Critical Care Management Award - Recognizes a critical care nurse manager who demonstrates excellence in leadership by fostering a positive atmosphere for nursing, enhances nurse empowerment, and creatively coordinates resources
- Excellence in Critical Care Practice Award - Recognizes a critical care nurse who embodies and exemplifies the excellent principles of critical care nursing practice
- Excellence in Critical Care Advanced Nursing Practice Award (Deborah Paschal) - Recognizes a critical care advanced practice nurse who demonstrates excellence in leadership, advanced clinical skills, research application, evidence-based practice, and mentoring
CANDIDATE ELIGIBILITY
- Current AACN and SePA memberships
- Active RN license and functioning in the role for at least one year
- Must be nominated by a fellow current SePA Chapter member
- May only receive each type of award once per lifetime
