The SePA – AACN Research Committee reminds you that we have EXTENDED the DEADLINE to apply for Grants in Support of Original Research, Evidence-Based Clinical Practice as well as Clinical Projects related to Acute and Critical Care. These grants are available to SePA members (up to $1000 for original research and evidence-based projects; up to $500 for clinical projects). The projects must benefit acutely or critically ill patients and families. Attached is the application cover page, budget page and guidelines for each grant. Applications are due by January 15th, 2017.

Please note that in order to apply for these grants, the principle investigator/project leader MUST be a current member of the SePA Chapter.

The recipients of the grants will be determined through a blind review by members of the Research Committee. In selecting recipients, the Research Committee places emphasis on scientific merit, contribution to acute and critical care nursing, and overall quality of the proposal.
